Walter Lee Asher, 78, resident of route 3, Prairie Grove, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon. A retired farmer, he was born June 15, 1882 at Prairie Grove, and was a lifetime resident of that community.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret E. Asher, of the home; two sons, Elton L. Asher, Yakima, Wash., and Carl W. Asher of the home; tow daughters Miss Claudis Asher, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Imogene Stunkard, Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Dona Templeton, Muskogee, Okla., and Mrs. Anna Rowe, Fayetteville; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Nelson's Funeral Home.
