Edwina (Fletcher) deMoulpied, "Nan" of Colonie, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Brattleboro, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Edwin E. and Marie (Stafford) Fletcher. She was a 1950 graduate of Brattleboro High School and devoted 25 years to Russell Sage College in Troy. She managed the Russell Sage College Post Office and also served the college library. Noontime in downtown Troy included hikes of the "Lunch Bunch" from Sage. Mrs. deMoulpied had interests that ran the gamut from golf to gardening. Her favorite free time enjoyments were reading, and visiting beaches in Cape Cod. She is survived by her husband, David K. deMoulpied; three children; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Edwina is the sister of Dana (Patty) Fletcher, Edwin (Barbara) Fletcher Jr., Jane (David) Whiting and the late Merrill (Suzy) Fletcher.
