Beverly Ann Morning, 79, passed away peacefully Friday, June 28, 2013 surrounded by her family. She fought a short but heroic battle with brain cancer. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Madrid.
Beverly was born to Agnes and Bertal Thoren on December 18, 1933 in Madrid, Iowa. Beverly was united in marriage to Harold Eugene Morning on May 28, 1955. From this union two daughters were born: Deborah and Deanna. Beverly worked with her husband in the family business in Madrid, but her main focus was being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Bev was full of energy and life and loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold Eugene and their two daughters Deborah (Jerry) Wibe and Deanna (David) Novotny, all of Madrid; grandchildren: Brenna (Mike) Saxton, Jessica Renoux, Abigail Wibe, Whitney (Austin) Dickinson, and Nicholas Novotny; two great grandchildren, Sophia and Alex Saxton, her brother Robert (Nancy) Thoren of Pueblo, Colorado, and her "sister" Susie (Jim) Ausmus of Greenrock, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father Bertal Thoren, mother Agnes Weems, step-father Jimmy Weems, and sister Betty Hilgenberg.
