Dailey Barker Sloan, 94, of Rocky Mount and formerly of Semora, N.C., died Wednesday, December 31, 1997.
She was a graduate of Womens College of Greensboro, N.C. and Columbia University of New York. She retired with over 30 years of service with the Roanoke City Schools, teaching Home Economics at William Fleming High School. She was a member of Boones Mill Baptist Church.
She was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will b e conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Park with Rev. James H. Steele officiating. The family will receive friends 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service, S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
