Mrs. Maxine Naugle, 86 years of age from Thurmont, MD went to be with her heavenly father December 20, 2017. She was a resident of Cedars Living Center, Charlottsville, VA at the time of her passing. She was the widow of the late Fred Naugle, she leaves behind five children; Mitchell, Brice and wife Lisa Brice, Randall Brice, Travis Blizzard, Kathy Brice and Douglas Seiss, Sr., one sister Mary Fraizer and husband Carl Fraizer of Frederick, MD many grandchildren, Jarrod Seiss, Ricky Seiss, Rhonda Seiss, Nicole Brice, Douglas Seiss, Jr., Michelle Brice and great grandson Tre Brice. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest Sunday, Bobby Sunday, sisters Pauline Spoor and Betty Fair, she had a special place in her heart for her nephews Kenneth Myers, David Fraizer of Thurmont, MD, also her niece Joni Twigg of Thurmont, MD.
Her love for people showed well as her job at Mountain Gate Restaurant for many years as a server. She had a sense of humor, love for music, especially gospel, she loved dancing, watching movies, her favorite of all time Mommy Dearest, she liked to dress up for various holidays. She was a loving mother as she had great compassion in her heart for her children. She was a member of Wellers United Methodist Church of Thurmont, MD. Her faith remained with her in heart and soul until her passing. She will be missed by the ones who dearly loved her.
The family will be holding a celebration of Maxine's life at Wellers United Methodist Church in Thurmont on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 7pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
