A graveside service for Bobbie Joe Asbill, age 81, of Emory, will be held Sunday, July 23, 2017, 3:00 pm, in Elm Cemetery. Bro Jerry Jackson will officiate.

Bobbie passed away Friday evening at Senior Suite Care and Rehab. He was born February 11, 1936, in Emory, to Woodrow Carson and Wanda Yarbrough Asbill. Later to marry Emma Faye Burgess in Greenville, on Nov. 28, 1973. Bobbie was a farmer and rancher.....he farmed wheat and other crops... but, always ran a herd of cattle. He was a member of Elm Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for some 3 years. He loved his family, and, spending time with them.

Survivors include: Wife: Faye Asbill of Emory; Daughters: Sheriee Hurst (Steve) of Point; Shelia Banta (Steve) of Point; Tessa Brzeski (Dewayne) of Josephine; Sons: Bobby Asbill (Ashley) of Cooper; and Kelly Barrett (Joyce) of Emory; Sisters: Ivanell Ratliff (James) of Emory; Donna Kirkpatrick (Gerald) of Emory; Jeannie Barrett of Emory; Brother: Roger Asbill of Emory; Numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; Numerous other loving family and friends;

Preceded in death by: Parents, Sister, Patricia Asbill; and, Brother, W.C. Asbill
