Thomas Edward “Ed” Williamson, 70 passed away, Sunday, December 24, 2017, at his residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Friday, December 29, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Junior Eads officiating and Bro. Robert Moore assisting. Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Williamson was born March 9, 1947, to the late Lois Dawkins and Ralph Williamson in Columbus, MS. He was a 1967 graduate of S.D. Lee High School, Columbus, MS. Mr. Williamson was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Columbus, MS and attended Eastview Church, Columbus, MS. He was retired from Airline Manufacturing where he was a supervisor. In addition to his parents,

Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his twin brother – Fred Williamson, brother - Henry Williamson and step-mother – Daphine Williamson.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife of 50 years – Brenda Eads Williamson, Columbus, MS; son – Andy (Jennifer) Williamson, Columbus, MS; daughter – Brandye (Gary) Box, Columbus, MS; brothers – Leslie Williamson and James (Teresa) Williamson; sisters - Bonnie (Keith) Thames and Judy (Mike) Dunaway; grandchildren – Taylor (Cody) Griggs, Brandon Perkins, Ivy Williamson, Drew Williamson, Brie Perkins, Rhoe Williamson, Paige (Dustin) Chavis and Whitnye (Clay) Stockman; great-grandchildren – Owen Griggs, John Box, Korie Stockman, Stella Chavis and Brayden Chavis.

Pallbearers will be Henry Williamson, Scott Williamson, Aaron Williamson, Shane Eads, Josh Eads, Chris Eads, Jason Stacy and Jeremy Stacy. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Lee, Mike Eads, Ken Eads, John Eads, Robert Vest, Mike Hanson, Lamar Harris, Danny Hunt, Jody Thompson, Emmitt Boozer, David Shelton, Charles Slayton, Jerry Harrell, Jeff Honnoll, Robbie Pierce and Gayre Pounders.
