From The Uintah Basin Standard (Duchesne, Utah) - Thursday, January17, 1957:

MYTON - Funeral services were held in the Ballard LDS chapel at 1 p.m. for Frank Winn, who died of a heart attack while repairing his truck near Lapoint. He was found about 8:30 p.m., but apparently had died about 6:00 o'clock p.m. Bishop Leslie Beardall of the Ballard ward conducted the services.

Mr. Winn ws born in Vernal April 14, 1906, a son of Charles Franklin and Effie Mae Weeks Winn. He married Beth Smith on November 17, 1937 in Duchesne.

A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was a stockman and rancher in the Myton area.

Surviving are his widow, two sons, Frankie and Owen; a daughter, Deniece, all of Myton; his mother of Roosevelt and the following brothers and sisters: Morris, Vernal; George, Lancaster, Calif.; Boyd L, Ferris, and Elbie, all of Roosevelt' Mrs. Marvol Labrum, Rexburg, Idaho; Mrs. Gladys Brunken, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Jessie Dean, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Emma Brower, Ogden; and Myrth Gardner, Roosevelt.

Burial was in the Cedarview cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt.
