Funeral services for Ben Park will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Crain, officiating. Interment will follow in the Captain Family Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Ben Park, age 81, of Skiatook, passed away, Friday, December 22, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa

Ben was born March 8, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Earl Wesley and Verlie Mae (Moore) Park. Ben grew up and received his education in Skiatook. Ben married Irene Helen Roberts on April 22, 1954 in Skiatook. Ben entered into the United States Army National Guard where he was Shop Chief Mechanic and retired after 25 years of service. Ben married Pattie Sue Stout on April 15, 1999 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas making their home in Skiatook since that time. Ben not only was a veteran but he was a rancher up until the day he passed away. Ben was very creative and very talented making things and working on things.

Ben was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Irene, two sisters and by one son: Ben Park Jr..

Ben is survived by his wife Pattie of the home, children: Connie Park, Jack Park, step-daughter: Jennifer Perkins, brother: Earl Park, two sisters: Stella Schwartz and Sarah Vance, three grandchildren, three step grandchildren, three great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “He’ll Take Care Of You”, “Headed To The Last Roundup”, “Happy Trails” and “Home On The range”.

Pallbearers will be: Kelly Park, Clayton Barton, Gene Bowline, Gaylen Bowline, Dustin Park and Scott Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are: Gary Stout, Jim Bahling and Ronnie Vance.

The family of Ben Park, entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
