George Was Born June 2, 1930 In Mobile, Alabama To Frank And Oriel Vasser. George Is Survived By His Wife Charlotte, Of 62 Years, His Son, Frank G. (Sandy) Vasser, III, His Daughter Sarah E. (Beth) Reeks, His Sister Ann Phillips, His Sister Myra Jo Ferguson, And His Three Grandchildren Caroline, Catlin, And Seth.

George Was A Loving And Caring Husband, Father And Grandfather.

George Was A Member Of The Alabama National Guard. He Attended Spring Hill College In Mobile And Graduated In 1954 With A Degree In Physics. He Was A Lieutenant In The U. S. Army In El Paso, Texas Where He Met Charlotte. He Joined International Paper (I.P.) In 1956 In Mobile, Held Many Leadership Positions In Mobile, Pine Bluff, AR., And Texarkana, Texas And Retired From I P In 1995.

George Was An Avid Woodworker And Crafted Many Furniture Pieces That Sit In The Home Of His Wife And Children.

The Family Will Receive Friends From 5-7 P. M. On Thursday At Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.

Graveside Services Will Be At 2:P.M. Friday At Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Memorials Donations May Be Made To Hospice Of Texarkana And The Texarkana Museum System.
