William Skinner Dies. William Skinner, a Douglas county pioneer, and one of Newman township's most prominent citizens, dropped dead from heart failure in the garden at his home near Newman Saturday morning. Funeral services were held at the Newman Christian church this afternoon. Rev. Charles Bloom. officiating. Mr. Skinner was an old soldier, known and respected all over the county.
