Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, DeNiece B. Leiter, 92, passed away on October 25, 1994 in Salt Lake City.

Born April 1, 1902 in Salt Lake City to William Richard and Ida Mae Duncombe Brown.

Married John C. Leiter on October 20, 1923; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in February 1990.

She was an active member of the Harvard Ward, serving in the Relief Society and as a Primary Teacher. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by three children, John Stan (Trudy), Robert (Carolyn) Leiter, and Irene (Archie) Bell; sixteen grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

The family wishes to offer a special thanks to the staff at St. Mark’s Hospital and her attending physician, Dr. John Stanchfield.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 1994 at Memorial Estates, 5850 South 900 East, where friends may call on Thursday, October 27, 1994 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn.
