He is preceded in death by his wives, Ruth Joy Allred and Mary Ruth Allred; son, James Allen Allred; step son, Mickey Taylor; parents, James and Maggie Allred; brother, Jim Allen Allred; sister, Beatrice Hensley; baby sister, Gladis Allred; daughter-in-law, Vivian Gail Allred
Survivors include his children, Prentiss Mickal Allred and wife, Geneva of Oak Grove, Larry Dean Allred and wife, Rosalyn of Ruston, Linda Diane Watson and husband, Ervin of West Monroe; Bobby Joe Allred and wife, Geraldean of Kilbourne; step son, Glenn "Dick" Taylor and wife, Linda of Minden; daughter-in-law, Shirley Allred; 6-grandchildren, Christopher Mickal Allred and wife, Chrissy, Kimberly Gay Turner, Thomas Brandon Allred and fiancé, Jewel, Rebecca Heyward and husband, Stephen, John Prentiss Allred and wife, Amy, and William Dewayne Sims and wife, Kristie; siblings, Vivian Sykes, Clyde H.
