Born in Lafayette, Mr. Masterson had lived in Indianapolis forty years and was a conductor for the Big Four thirty years, before retiring in 1935. He was a member of the St. Anthony's church, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and the Maccabees.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs Rose Masterson; three sons, Charles Masterson, John Masterson and William Masterson, and two daughters, Mrs. A. E. McGovern and Mrs. P. V. Moran, all of Indianapolis.
