Edwina passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. No service has been set at this time. Mrs. Hays was born May 10, 1925, in Epps, LA, to Albert Anton and Ella Maria Catalina Anderson.
She married Douglas Hays in Dallas in 1946. She owned and operated a grocery store/gas station for many years. Mrs. Hays was affiliated with St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors include: Daughters: Ginger Potter (Rick) of Emory; Janice Hays of Emory; Sons: Ronnie Hays of Fredericksburg; Jim Hays (Sharon) of Emory; Albert Hays (Tina) of Yantis; Grandchildren: 9; Great-grandchildren: 2;
Preceded in death by: Parents and 2 brothers
