Mom died peacefully in her home on December 13, 2017 at the age of 96 after a lifetime full of adventures. She loved to travel and between raising a family and work, found the time to travel the world with her loving husband.
She was also well known for her love of gardening. Dressed in her Japanese gardener outfit, she spent decades pulling weeds and planting cannas and other flowers in full view of the neighborhood.
Betty is survived by her children: Jane (Dick) Hatch, Linda McFarlane, Ross Fishburn and Nancy (Lenny) Dick; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marilyn.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don; and their daughter, Charlotte.
Friends may visit with the family Friday evening December 15th from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah. Private Graveside Services for the family will be held Saturday, December 16th at the Centerville City Cemetery.
