Koochie was a faithful member of Bald Hill Baptist Church, where she played the organ for many years. She loved to journal and had a ministry of visiting friends in nursing homes. She loved her Dallas Cowboys and was her happiest when riding her motorcycle. Edna worked the majority of her life and retired from Lufkin Telephone Exchange.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Carolyn Carlisle; niece, Leisa Carlisle Spears and husband Jay; nephews, Keith Carlisle and wife, Megan and Johnny Carlisle; great nieces and nephews, Blake and Brice Spears, Tyler and Jack Carlisle, Kathy and Hannah Turner; numerous cousins and other relatives and friends who enjoyed her gift of writing - including special friends, Mark Pope, Glen and Dee McDaniel and Patsy Murray.
Per her request, no service will be held. Cremation under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
