Funeral services for Wayne Bryant, age 80, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 14, 2017 in the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Steven Nipp officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Wayne died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at his residence in Lindale. He was born May 23, 1937 in Gadsden, Alabama to the late Fred B. & Ruby Lee (Smith) Bryant and was a longtime resident of Lindale since 1951. Wayne co-owned and operated East Texas Tile and Acoustic in Lindale since 1976 and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church where he was a deacon and trustee and served on the building committee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bryant on January 7, 2011; son, Eddie Wayne Bryant; grandson, Justin Wade Turner; brother, Bobby Bryant; and sister, Shelby White. Wayne is survived by his son, Tony Bryant of Lindale, Texas; daughters, Deborah Brown of Lindale, Texas and Jeannie Turner and husband, Charlie of Lindale, Texas; sister, Martha Gail Steele of Tyler; grandchildren, Clinton Wayne Bryant of Tyler, Texas and Kimberly Tabb of Tyler, Texas; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; 3 sisters-in-law, Hulene Ferguson and husband, Sam of Lindale, Lajuanda Morrow and husband, Ronnie of Spring, Texas and Pat Brown of Austin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Clinton Wayne Bryant, Troy Tabb, Dalton Tabb, Dillon Tabb, T.J. Carmody, and Cosby Bryant. Honorary pallbearers are David Alvey, Ramey Bryant, Sam Ferguson, Ronnie Morrow, Kelly White and Harlan Ray.
