Sharon Jolena Harrel (Jolena) age 78 went to be with her Lord on Nov. 27, 2017 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan, Colorado. Jolena was born in Texas on May 4, 1939. She was the youngest of 4 children to Jay and Seleta (Wilkinson) Devenport.
She started school in Zanies OK, and the family moved to Burlington area in Jolenas Junior year. She graduated from Burlington in 1957.
She met Kent Harrel her junior year, and they were married on Oct. 27, 1957. Kent and Jolena had 4 children: Cyndy, Rick, Tim, and Brenda. She raised her children on the farm.
She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and never missed of their events. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Cyndy McCaffrey, brother Bill Devenport, sister Dee Bural, and survived by 3 children, Rick Harrel (Rena) of Lapel, IN, Tim Harrel (Virginia) of Grand Junction, CO, Brenda Harrel of Burlington, 1 Sister, Chris Heiner of Edmond OK, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
