He was a member of Anthony Lodge No. 171, F. & A.M., Indiana Farm Bureau, and Saddle Club. Besides farming Jack enjoyed running his own saw mill.
He is survived by nieces & nephews. His wife of 73 years, Ruby (Frazier) Haisley, died in 2013. His parents and siblings are also deceased.
