Mrs. MARY C. BARBER, a well known resident of this city, died Thursday at 8.20 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.F. Bowers, in Piedmont, WV, of hardening of the arteries, aged 71 years. Mrs. Barber was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church and was beloved and respected by all who knew her.

She is survived by sons, John and Clarence, this city; Mary, Washington; William, Martinsburg; daughters, Mrs. Joseph Taylor, Williamsport; Mrs. Jacob Lushbaugh, this city; Mrs. C.F. Bowers, Piedmont; Mrs. F.H. Mann, Sehastopol, Ca.

Funeral from the home of John Barber, 39 Elizabeth Street; interment in St. Paul's Cemetery.
