Norma was a retired school teacher having taught 46 years at Belle Rive and Bluford Grade Schools where she taught first and second grade.
She graduated from Belle Rive Grade School, Mt. Vernon High School and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, D. F. Bub Mallory.
She is survived by her sister, Doris Ginger Mallory; niece, Lawanda (Tony) Huggins of Belle Rive; and great niece, Malora Faith Huggins of Evansville, Indiana. Also surviving are sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Everett) Moore, their children, Kenneth, Christopher, Jacob and Josh Moore; Karla (Brad) Tucker and family; Karen (Herb) Davis and family.
