Born on September 4, 1928 in Colfax, IN, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Fairy (Riley) Moore. She was a 1947 graduate of Klondike High School. Ruby’s marriage of 32 years was to John Mac Christopher on October 16, 1948 in Round Grove, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1980.

Together they started Christopher Trucking, Inc. She also worked part-time at Sears and helped at Ross Camp for many summers.

For many years she hosted many of the California Colt World Series players, sometimes as many as six stayed with her. The role that Ruby was most proud of was being a wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son, Steven Wesley Christopher; four sisters, Martha Malaska, Ellen Alkire, Eleanor Weigle and her twin sister Ruth Morehouse; and two brothers, Maldred “Bud” Moore and Phillip Moore.
