According to Allen M. Cook's the "Cook Family News" 1903, Pleasant Cook was the seventh of eleven children, born about 1807 and died at 16. Her parents Isaac & Rachel (Unthank) Cook lived in Guilford Co., N. C., where they died. Isaac & Rachel mou in 1792, disowned in 1793, but reinstated in 1795.
