BRUCE A. BERLIEN, 70, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a graduate of South Side High School and served our country in the National Guard. Bruce graduated from the General Electric Apprenticeship program and became a tool & die maker with General Electric. Bruce was the owner/operator of Bruco Industries Inc. for 27 years. He enjoyed fishing, golf and spending time with the grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Cyril Berlien of Fort Wayne; daughters, Leslie (Kevin) Carpenter and Danielle (Mark) Webb both of Fort Wayne and Amy (John) Schriber of Venice, Fla.; grandchildren; Adrianna, Joshua, Courtney, Ross, Nicholas, Luke and Matthew; step grandchildren, Alexis and Christopher; sister, Sue (Ben) Sprunger of Columbus, Ohio. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Paul B. and Opal A Berlien. Calling will be Friday, July 06, 2012 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Wayne.
