Alice L. Beach, 69, raised in Juniata, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in Lincoln. Alice was born January 21, 1948, to Wayne and Helen (Jones) Beach in Hastings. Alice graduated from Juniata High School in 1966 and then attended Kearney State College. She then moved to Minnesota with her good friend, Bev, where they lived for 36 years.

In 2006 Alice and Bev moved to Lincoln. Alice loved God, loved people and loved life. She was an avid boater and spent time enjoying the St. Croix River with friends. She enjoyed watching TV, reading books and hanging out with friends. Alice was a very loyal friend. She loved babies and puppy dogs and often enjoyed getting on the floor with them.

Alice was inspired by her teachers and always wanted to be a teacher. Her dad taught her that anything worth doing was worth doing right. You could always count on Alice telling you the truth. Ironically her name literally means truth.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters; Kathleen 'Kapp' Fastenau and Charlotte 'Charlie' Pittman. Survivors include her very dear friend, Beverly LeTourneau of Lincoln, brother, Frank Beach of Roseland and sister, Carol 'Katie' Gangwich of Juniata, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Celebration of Alice's life will be at 12:30 p.m. this Sunday, Dec. 10, at Radiant Church, 740 N. 70th Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery at a later date.

Alice, we love you and you will live in our hearts forever.
