Funeral services for Lonnie O. Brock, 79, of Hudson will be held Sunday, March 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bud Bonner officiating. Interment will be in the Wallace Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Brock was born June 7, 1927 in Groveton, Texas, to the late Jessie Alice
(Brown) and James Levi Brock, and died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in a local hospital. Mr. Brock resided in Lufkin most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and worked for Brock's Air Conditioning Service. Mr. Brock was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Survivors
include his wife of 51 years, Lillian Brock of Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Richard Gilbert, Sr. of Lufkin; daughters, Donna Leach of Rockdale and Peggy Ivey of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Theodore and Vicki Brock of Hudson; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law,
Rabon and Betty Brock of Hudson; sister, Lula Hendry of Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Lonnie Dale Ivey; sister, Evelyn Bayer; and brother-in-law, Clovis Hendry. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Brock's grandsons and nephews.
