He is survived by two sons, a daughter, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, as well as three brothers James M., Elvin P. and Dennis L. Walston. A private service will be held.

Doc was on the WPD from 9/5/1978 to 8/17/2010, retiring as an Auto Theft Detective. He was always colorful and full of wit!
