Milo- Funeral services for Mr. Aaron G Vanerburg, 89, of Milo, will be held 11:00AM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Milo Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating and Marsha Pearson with the Eulogy. Interment will follow at the Milo Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Griffin officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Aaron G Vanderburg was born August 7, 1928 at Clemscott to the late Mr. Oscar Ezell Vanderburg and Mrs. Ada Ellen (Osborne) Vanderburg. He departed this life Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his home in Milo.

Aaron Vanderburg was raised at Clemscott attending school at Graham graduating from there in 1946.
He then enlisted into the Army where he served in Word War II serving overseas. Aaron served as a cook during his service. He was dicharged honorably and he later served over 3 more years in the Army National Guard being discharged in 1953. Aaron received the

Aaron married the former Ms. Norma Jean Brown, November 21, 1952 at Lone Grove and lived at Ardmore. The couple later made their home in Milo. Aaron loved doing wood work, building things and he enjoyed fishing.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Ronnie Vanderburg

Survivors include wife, Noma Jean (Brown) Vanderburg of the home, daughter, Debbie Cryer and husband Terry of Ardmore; daughter-in-law, Kenna Vanderburg of Dickson; grandchildren, Trevor Vanderburg of Dickson, Lauren Vesely of Ada, and LindeyRude of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Wayne Brown and wife JoAnn of Wilson; numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Creed Speak, Mie Bynum, Jim Gunter, Red Clour, Joe Oakman, and Trent Taylor.

Honorary bearers are Harold Rozzell, Pat Fitzgerald, Jim Rex, Wayne Brown, Crosstimbers nurses and staff.
