Born July 7, 1926 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late Leslie Columbus Croft Sr. and Mary Anna Hardgrager Croft.
Mr. Croft was a retired self-employed mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. His family remembers how he loved to go fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Juanita Payne Lord Croft; daughter, Diane Hall and five sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Frances Barlow of Barnwell, S.C.; two step-sons, Claude Lord and wife Linda of Moultrie, Ga., Danny Lord and wife Jo of California.; step-daughter, De Lisa Lord Crapps of Cairo, Ga.; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
