Alan Ray West, 57, of Garland, Texas passed away on December 12th, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas on April 8th, 1959 to parents Patricia and James West. Alan was an incredible husband and father, and loved by many. He was an exceptionally talented musician, always sharing his passion with others. Alan was always the life of the party, and his sense of humor and laughter will be missed by the countless lives that he touched. Alan is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Gwyn West, daughters Amber and Lauren West, father James West, brother Eric West, and kin. He is preceded in death by mother Patricia West, and his brother Gaylen West. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 18th, at Williams Funeral Directors from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a funeral service the next day, Monday, December 19th, at 1:00 in Williams Memorial Chapel.
