Dennis A. Griffin, 78, of 153 1/2 Sullivan Street, Elmira, died in Elmira, June 23, 1955. He was a former resident of Ithaca.
Mr. Griffin was a retired tailor.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Marie Scout and Miss Ellen Griffin of Ithaca; two brothers, Jerry Griffin of Ithaca and Patrick Griffin of Groton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the Shea Funeral Home, Ithaca and the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Graveside prayers were said in Calvary Cemetery.
Bearers: George Hassan, Arthur Feehan, Arthur Sprague, and Luke Keefe.
