Abram First, a veteran of the Civil War, and aged 69 years, was found dead in bed this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ellen Miller, 711 North street. Death was due to heart disease.
Mr. First had only returned home from one of the National Soldiers' Homes, where he had been living for several years. He was a well known resident of Harrisburg. He is survived by several children, among them Mrs. Miller and Abraham First, of 628 Boas street.
