Carnelle W. Eubanks age 90, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 5th after a prolonged and courageous battle with Parkinson's. Carnelle was born in Columbia, South Carolina on July 26, 1927 the daughter of William L. Waltz and Minnie Kleckly Waltz. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Quinby S. Eubanks, Jr.; son: Kenneth "Ken" D. Fox; and a great grandson: Morgan W. Tharp.

Carnelle had an unwavering faith in God and was a lifelong member of the Leesville United Methodist Church and the Batesburg-Leesville Community. She was a consummate mother and homemaker; Carnelle also retired from Union Switch and later worked at Shealy's Bar-B-Que.

Surviving her is her brother: William "Dub" D. Waltz, wife: Joann of Jackson, Mississippi; son: Theodore "Ted" C. Fox, III and wife Cathy of Aiken, South Carolina; daughter: Nancy Lynn Tharp of Leesville, South Carolina; her beloved grandchildren: John, Joshua, Joseph and Jacob Fox, Tara Hollis, Zane and Madison Tharp; sixteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; two stepsons: Robert "Bob" Eubanks of Colorado, William "Bill" Eubanks of Ohio; stepdaughter: Sharon Schoneberger of California; two step grandchildren: Cameron and Cayce Eubanks; and one step great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel. Graveside service will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park at 3 PM. Those who so desire may make memorial donations to the Leesville United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
