Bob loved hunting and camping with his grandsons and working with his hands. He was especially fond of times spent on the family land near Redland, TX. He could build just about anything. An avid reader and researcher, Bob was always delving into some subject that caught his interest. A student of genealogy, he traveled in the process of researching his family history. After retirement from his career as a CPA, Bob wrote and published a book, Nicholas Flores – The Downfall of An Honorable Man. He loved children and delighted in making them laugh with his stories and antics. There was more than just a little bit of mischief behind his quiet demeanor.
Bob was blessed to be loved and married to two wonderful women in his lifetime. He was a devoted husband who cared for both JoAnne and Linda as they battled cancer. A devout and faithful member of the Duncanville Church of Christ, he was a quiet man who was always ready to serve and encourage others.
Funeral Service is 10 AM Thursday Nov. 30, 2017 at Duncanville Church of Christ, 402 W. Danieldale Road Duncanville, TX 75137. Graveside Service follows at 3 PM in Centerville Cemetery, Centerville, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wed. at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
