She was born Sept. 29, 1929 to Lessie and Ola Landis. She was preceded in death by husband G. Neal Skeen and brothers Kemp, Neil, and Richard Landis.
Survived by sisters Wilda (Dale) Scarbrough of Richfield, Ohio and Wanda Phalen of Newark, Ohio. Juanita also leaves behind sons Michael (Donna) Skeen and David (Gwen) Skeen and daughter Linda(Steve) Nevil, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Along with many friends and family. Juanita retired from the Columbus Public School system after 30 years of service.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers Juanita requested donations for the Goshen Cemetery Maintenance Fund in Kentuck, West Virginia.
