Lawrence W. (Larry) Hastings, 84, of 92 Demarest Pkwy., died in the Arnot-Ogden Hospital.
Mr. Hastings was founder of L.W. Hastings Business Machine Company. He was past President of the Elmira Kiwanis Club and Secretary of Kiwanis 1929-1956 and 1960-1982.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise E. Hastings; step-children, Mrs. Elton (Marilyn) Schulz of Rochester and Richard Wright of Wakengham, England; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the Hughes & Sons Funeral Home and Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will be held later in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Groton, New York.
