Albert was the son of Albert Sr. and mother Louise (Olson) Akerstrom, father born Sweden. Another census shows Albert Jr. was born in Massachusetts and his marriage record shows born Quincy Massachusetts. I received an edit to change it from Massachusetts to Sweden and have done so but I am not sure this is correct.
He married Emma Fogg October 1, 1923 in Laconia New hampshire and that record shows parents as Albert Akerstrom and Louise Olsen. Emma was the daughter of Joseph Fogg and Georgianna LaFlamm, both born Canada. Albert was a grocery manager at the time of the marriage and Emma was a mill operative born in Belmont New Hampshire, groom born in Quincy Massachusetts. Emma was widowed.
In 1940 he was enumerated as Elbert J. Akerstrom and was living in Belmont New Hampshire where he was farming. He had a wife Emma age 44 born in New Hampshire and a son Albert Jr. age 23 born Massachusetts. Emma's mother Georgianna Fogg age 70, born Canada, was also in the household.
In 1950 he resided with his wife and mother-in-law in Laconia on Pine Street and was the proprietor of a retail grocery store.
