BUNA—Funeral services for Oscar C. Block, 62, of Rt. 2 Box 155 will be at 3 p.m. today in Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
He died at 11 p.m. Friday in the Buna Medical Center.
A native of Orange, he had lived in Vidor and moved to Buna 14 years ago. He was a retired pipefitter.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel Courmier Block; one daughter, Joan Cosby of San Antonio; two sons, Gene Block of Buna and Michael Block of Evadale and three sisters, Edna Houseman and Lettie Philmon, both of Vidor and Pearl Houseman of Newton.
