Cleo L. Olson was born on November 11, 1933, in Bruce, SD, the daughter of Oscar and Idella (Lenning) Olson. Cleo received her education in the Brookings School District. She was united in marriage to Robert A. Bud Lee on July 14, 1951, in Ivanhoe, MN. After their marriage she was employed at Bens Bakery for a short time, before working at a variety of businesses in Brookings including Ben Franklin, Council Oak Store, the Brookings High School Cafeteria for several years, as well as the Brookings Hospital for ten years. They retired to Sioux Falls in 2003, where Cleo lived until the time of her passing
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading and especially spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.
Cleo is survived by her two sons, Brian Lee (Leah), of Omaha, NE and Timothy Lee (Betty Herrera), of Sioux Falls, SD; four grandchildren, Kenzie, Jacob, Madison and Izzie.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; three brothers, Willard, Darrel and Wayne and two sisters, Frances and Phyllis.
