Lloyd Cloud Dies Suddenly At Church Event

Lloyd H. Cloud, 56, Washington Township farmer, died shortly after being stricken with a heart attack about 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Raleigh Christian Church, where he was attending a board meeting of the church trustees.

Mr. Cloud's home was two miles southwest of Raleigh on R. R. 3, Rushville.

He had served as deacon of the Raleigh Christian Church for several years and also was a member of the Washington Township Farm Bureau.

A native of Fayette County, he was born March 8, 1909, the son of Allen and Stella Allison Cloud and was married December 24, 1932, to Lillie Browning, who survives.

Surviving with the widow are three sons, twins Donald and David at home, senior members of this season's Mays High School basketball team, and Larry Cloud, north of Raleigh; two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Marilyn) Miller of New Whiteland and Mrs. Cecil (Eileen) Revalee near Greensfork; four brothers, Lowell of Losantville, Harold of Blountsville, Gleon of Dayton, O., and Walter Cloud of Hamilton, O.; a sister Mrs. Earl (Jennie) Hyatt, east of Rushville, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Raleigh Christian Church at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Ralph Byers officiating, and burial will follow in Zion Cemetery there. Friends may call at Moster and Sons Mortuary after 2 p.m. Thursday and after 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
