Services for Alfred J. Janacek, 48, a 20 year resident of La Grange,
formerly of Weimar, were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange
with Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewicz officiating. Interment followed at the
Fayetteville Catholic Cemetery.
Alfred J Janacek died April 11 at St. David's Hospital in Austin.
He was born Aug 31, 1940, the son of Herman and Florence (Polk) Janacek in
La Grange. He was united in marriage with Mary Marek on June 3, 1968 at St.
John's in Fayetteville.
Janacek was part owner of Adamcik's TV, was a repair technician, a member of
Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the KJT.
Survivors include his wife Mary Janacek, one daughter, Angela Janacek, three
sons Patrick, Chris and Brian Janacek, all of La Grange; father and mother,
Herman and Florence Janacek and one sister, Joann Moeckel, all of Weimar,
brother, Francis Joe Janacek of League City, grandmother, Mary Polk, of
Weimar and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
