ZARRELLA, MARY ALICE, 92, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Sacred Heart Village, Louisville. She was born on July 16, 1914 in Tell City, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zarrella; parents, William and Augusta (Fischer) Lautner; sister, Mary Frances Lahee; brother, Mosgr. William A. Lautner. Survivors include four daughters, Catherine Zoercher of Gainsville, GA, Paula Heck of Scotch Plains, NJ, Mary Alice Thurmond and Mary Jo Burke, both of Louisville; five grandchildren, Erin, Paul and Chris Burke, James Heck and Evan Thurmond; four great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Rhodes of Tell City. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. CST on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Timothy Sweeney, O.S.B. officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tell City. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. CST Friday, March 23, 2007 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and 8:30-9:30 a.m. CST Saturday, March 24,2007 at the funeral home. A parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. CST, Friday evening at the funeral home with combined D of I service.
