Mary A. Stokes, age 85, of Crockett passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at her residence. Mary graduated from Centerville High School in 1950. She and her husband, Roy moved to Alvin in 1966 and lived there until 2002 when they made Crockett their home. Mary was a loving wife and mother and loved her family dearly. She was also a member of the Central Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, William Frank Price and Mamie Reed Price; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn Price and Noveline Price, William “Bill” Price; Lera Price; sister, Frances Dupree; mother-in-law, Mildred Holz; father-in-law, Glyn Stokes and wife, Bennie .
Funeral services for Mary Ann Stokes will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home with Rev. John Goss officiating. Interment to follow in the Centerville Cemetery.
