Mrs. Pigg was a member of Central Baptist Church in Newport, a precious mother, and loving grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, going fishing, reading and watching romance, traveling, loved watching Gone With The Wind, which she watched numerous times, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Pigg is preceded in death by her husband, J.W.; one son, James Pigg; two great grandchildren, Ashley Collins and Michael Pigg; brothers, Ray, Guy, Shelby, Earl, and Harlan Hancock; sisters, Violet Horton, and Flossie Beard; and her parents.
She leaves behind one daughter, Barbara Baucum and husband Robert of Humboldt, Tennessee; one son, Len Pigg and wife Linda of Clinton Township, Michigan; one daughter-in-law, Carryl Pigg of Olyphant; two sisters, Bertha Pelley of Conway, Arkansas and Betty Jo Patrick of Wagner Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren.
