Gonzales was a 1st Sgt. in the Army National Guard. He worked at Fort Wingate Army Depot, RMCH, Giant Refinery and Amigo's. He enjoyed doing carpentry work around his home. He was a people person.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Gonzales; daughters, Gina Gonzales and Alexcia Chavez; brother, Medardo Gonzales; sister, Estella Crespin; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Gonzales was preceded in death by his father, Elizardo Gonzales; mother, Emelia Gonzales; sister, Carmelita Alonzo.
