MILLER, Ellen Goodman , age 91, passed away March 11, 2004, at Healthcare Center of Pensacola. Mrs. Miller was born September 9, 1912, in Douglas, Ga., and resided in Pensacola, Fla., from 1942 to 1961. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker, the vice president of her and her husband's construction company and a published poet.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Dellun N. Miller; two sons; Lamar and Gerald Miller.
She will be dearly missed by her relatives and friends, among them, daughters, Betty (Tracey) Neale, of Pensacola, Fla. and Debbie Jones, of Brooksville, Fla.; three sons, Freddy G. Miller, of Tallahassee, Fla., Charles Miller, of Brooksville, Fla., Philip Miller, of Brooksville, Fla.; one sister, Pearl Saddler, of Americus, Ga., 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contribution to a local hospice organization. Arrangements Entrusted to McNeil-Keyes Funeral Home. Agraveside service will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery March 15, 2004 11:00 a.m., in Dade City Fla. Oakley Funeral Home.
