Joshua Carver is the son of Jesse and Boissy Carver , where they came from Burke and Montgomery Counties , and settled into Appling County where they were cut into Ware County..

Joshua was later was cut into to Clinch County , but he moved back to Ware County portion and met and married in 1849 to Rhoda Albritton , daughter of Henry ...

Later after 1860's they divorced and Rhoda married again but Joshua did not ...

Children of this marriage:

(2) John (married Elizabeth Barber)
(3) James M. (married Mariah Ricketson)
(4) Mary Jane (married George Howell)

Joshua moved to Coffee County and spent his last days there....
