Geraldine "Gerry" Dozier, 83, of McAlester, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Gerry was born on Sept. 25, 1934, in Wewoka, to Leslie and Lela (Duvall) Yandell. She married Bob Dozier on Nov. 22, 1952, in Arpelar. She was of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents, Leslie and Lela Yandell; infant brother; two grandsons, Kenneth Shannon and Baby Dozier; one great-grandchild, baby Dozier; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Stella Dozier, and niece, Valicia Light. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov, 30, at Arpelar Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Joel Price officiating.
