BURLINGTON, VT. - Marion "Betty" Ruth (Billings) West, age 83, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday, November 19th 2017 at the VNA Respite House in Colchester, Vt.
She was born on April 19th 1934 in Burlington, Vt., she was the daughter of Ernest Francis and Sarah Viola (Charbonneau) Billings Sr.
She married her 1st husband Ronald James Samanski on November 2nd 1957 in Winooski, Vermont.
She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. Marion enjoyed making food for others and found joy in trying to help others in any way possible.
Marion was predeceased by her parents; her father Frank Billings Sr. in 1974 and her mother Sarah Billings in 1991, two brothers; Ernest Francis Billings Jr. on July 9th 2004 and Robert J. Billings on January 14th 2004, one sister; Paulita Mae (Billings) Rockwell on November 14th 2001, as well as her partner; Ralph L. Gonyea on November 16th 2011.
